Poverty education essay

Often the only way out of poverty is an education that can provide them with a job which can meet their income needs. If a child’s school achievement is affected by poverty, they have a higher chance of dropping out and continuing poverty in their generation.

Many reason’s poverty is caused is when adults do not complete high school and receive a low education to deal with their whole life. Also is caused by wnot being able to receive a job.

Poverty is often referred to as having low wages. As indicated by Amartya Sen in Inequality Reexamined, poverty is defined as the lack of ability to function adequately in society. By this definition, insufficient education is a form of poverty.

However, schools in urban areas lack the resources to provide a quality education. More experienced teachers also prefer to teach in suburban areas. The effects of poverty can be reversed with proper intervention. Poverty remains to be the source of hardships financially, academically, and socially.
